What motivated you to get tattooed in the first place?
Not sure where the desire to get tattooed came from but I was always into the culture where body modifications were prevalent.
How many tattoos do you currently have?
I think currently 12 in total. Mostly bigger pieces but a few fillers.
What was your first tattoo and why did you select it?
My first tattoo was the girl head/skull and crow on my left shoulder done in 2012. Without going into all the details, it was to commemorate a not so fun time in my life that I didn’t want to forget. The tattoo to me kind of a represents “beauty in death”.
Which one of your tattoos would you say is your favourite?
Usually the most recent piece is my favourite. Which in this case would be the tiger and dagger. But I always keep going back to the snake and torch on my left arm.
What artist(s) would you like to get tattooed by?
Definitely more pieces done by Heath (@heathsmith) but a think a top bucket list artist for me would be an artist named Jean Le Roux (@jeanleroux) based out in London. A little different from my current style but I’ve been following him for years and his work is unreal.
What do you like about the particular style(s) of tattoos that you've chosen to get done?
I like the look of the bold lines and solid colour. Sometimes the “simplicity” of traditional makes the boldest statements.
